About the Convention (CRPD)

The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is a framework document that Ukraine ratified on December 16, 2009. It consists of 50 mandatory articles.

Every four years, Ukraine provides the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities with a periodic report on progress in their achievements with the implementation of the Convention. Any Ukrainian civil society organization can submit alternative reports on state implementation of the provisions of the Convention.
